Last week was great for the herbs as they love the warm weather. This week we are watching to see if we need to worry about frost. You always have to be prepared.

Now that is more fall-like it’s time to think harvest and what better way to start the harvest is with Ringle Harvest Day Saturday October 14thth from 8:00-3:00. This is the 21st annual for this event which has turned into a great community event full of flea market and antique vendors; along with great food and community fun.

Our 4H club, Popplewood 4H, puts on the event and holds a food stand. This fundraiser supports the clubs needs throughout the year. The kids enjoy working hard and volunteering to show 4H awareness and also to show how much they love and support the community that supports them. Please consider stopping out and enjoying the wonderful event.

Ewe & Herb will have a booth set up near the food stand as well. We will have a variety of herb items for you to take into your fall cooking season.

Don’t forget we also will be having our Fresh For Fall Sale at the Farm October 26th from 4:00-8:00

We will have potted, dried, and fresh cut herbs along with bakery items. We also will be teaming up with a few of our friends, bringing fall décor and vintage items.

Have a great week!!
